James and Sarah Stanley Bishop operated a bakery shop on Duke St. in
Cheltenham, Glouc., Eng. They were converted to the L.D.S. church in 1851.
They sold the bake shop and sailed for America on the 'Arizona' on October
21, 1884, arriving in New York November 1884. They traveled by train to Utah to join two sons who had come earlier. They settled in Kaysville, Utah.

!Burial: Scipio Township, Ohio. The cemetery was located on land belonging to
the family in Scipio Township - it was evidently John McGlaughlin's farm and
he deeded pieces of it to his sons Elihu, James and Andrew. When the farm was
sold, the piece of land (about 1/16 acre) was kept in the family for the heirs
of John McGlaughlin to own in Perpetuity. (Deed of Andrew J. McGlaughlin to
Abraham Gotechall) The cemetery is on land now surrounded by a farm belonging
to Charles Barley on Winn Road off County Rt. 7 (accessible from Rutland
Township, but closer to the town of Carpenter.

be 25 Jan 1807.
