family. They came to America in 1659, he on the ship "Otter" and she as a
child of 9 years with her family on the ship "Faith" or "De Trow."

!Name: Cornelius Jansen assumed the name Van der Veer after coming to America.
In the Netherlands, he used the surname Dominicus. The name Van der Veer
means "from the ferry." The name Seeu or De Zeeuw (meaning the Zeelander) was
often used in referring to Cornelius Jansen Vanderveer. He signed his name to
a land transfer "Cornelis Janssen Seeu." It is also seen "Cornelis Jansz De
Seeu, Constable" and Cornelis Vanderveer, Constable".

shown, as two died in 1682 and it is also possible that one died in 1667/8.
